Activated carbon fiber cloth is made from natural or synthetic fiber cloth by high-temperature carbonization and activation, characterized in large specific surface area, high adsorptivity and fast desorption speed.
Purpose:
It is widely applied to such fields as solvent recovery, air cleaning, water treatment, odor control, deodorizing device, catalyst carrier, electrode material and so on.
Features:
1. Great adsorbance. The adsorbance to organic and odorous gases is tens of times as great as activated carbon. It also play well in adsorbing inorganic gases, as well as in adsorbing microbes and bacteria. (e. G. The colibacillus adsorbance ratio reaches 94~95%).
2. Fast adsorption speed. It adsorbs gases quickly to adsorptive balance, as well as adsorb liquids, whose adsorption velocity is 2~3 ten times as many as activated carbon.
3. Acid proof and alkali proof. It has a good electrical conductivity and chemical stability.
4. Well heat resistance. Its ignition point in air is over 500C.
5. Easy to restore. It can be fully desorbed within 10~30 minutes by hot-air treatment at 120~150C, and its original adsorbability can basically be kept after the desorption
