Coal based activated carbon has mainly meso-pores and macro-pores and due to its unique gas phase purification, potable water purification industries, wastewater purification industries and aquarium/pond water purification industries.
Coal based activated carbon have four typies:
1. Regular bituminous coal based activated carbon:
Mesh size: 4*6, 4*8, 4*10, 5*7, 6*12, 8*16, 8*20, 8*30, 10*30, 10*40, 12*40, 20*50mesh
Iodine: 800-1100 mg/g min CCL4(CTC): 50%-85% min
Methylene blue: 100-230 mg/gmin
Hardness: 85%-95% min
Ash: 8%-18% max Moisture: 2%-5% max
2. Acid washed bituminous coal based activated carbon:
Other specs. Are same as 1
Ash content: 1%-12% max
3. Virgin extruded palletized coal based activated carbon:
Diameter: 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 MM
Iodine: 800-1200 mg/g min CCL4(CTC): 50%-90% min
As content: 8%-18% max Moisture: 2%-5% max
4. Powder coal based activated activated carbon:
Mesh size: 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 200, 325 mesh
Iodine: 700-1100 mg/g min Ash content: 6%-16% max
Moisture: 2%-10% max
Packing: 25kgs, 1000 kgs woven bag, according to the customer request.
